Museum Remembrance Service
The Submariners Association annual Remembrance Service at the Submarine Museum went ahead this year on a very much reduced scale due to the current Covid virus restrictions. In fact, in an ironic twist, the current lock-down was to our advantage in that the museum was closed to the public and therefore strict control over numbers (only six people allowed in) was possible and we were all able to guarantee that safe distancing rules could be obeyed.
The National Museum of the Royal Navy streamed a video of the event.
Look out for the order “Out Hip Flasks” at the end of the ceremony.
