AUCTION NOTICE – Belgrano – Sigint Behind the Headlines

The Friends of the Submarine Museum have been gifted a copy of this rare book to auction for the Friends.  It was compiled by GCGQ, with the assistance of Chris Wreford Brown, and apparently only 10 copies of the book were produced. It contains copies of many signals which were classified TS at the time, and actually gives a rather broader history of the Falklands War than the name suggests. This copy, signed by Chris, the Commanding Officer of HMS CONQUEROR, will be auctioned at the AGM on 18 September.  It will be a silent auction, with sealed bids placed either on the night or emailed, in advance, and in confidence, to the Secretary on or before 17 September at info@rnsubmusfriends.org.uk .   The Secretary is independent and will not be bidding himself.
