Submarine Book of Remembrance – Plaque update
Regular visitors will know that Friends are running a project to link submarine memorials around the country with the online Submarine Book of Remembrance (known to the team as OBOR). A new plaque was put in place, just before Christmas, at the Submarine Memorial Area of St Mary the Virgin Church in Shotley where boats of the 8th and 9th Flotillas are commemorated.
