Recognition Test and Caption Competition
No prizes for recognising this location but perhaps one for a good caption! The weather seems uncharacteristically good.

One very reliable (until 2300) light (house/cottage) that was not controlled by Trinity House.
Make sure you’re not “Laggan” behind … (groan!)
It was a very brief respite from the drizzle during my 16 km round trip walk from Loch Ranza. There was a shed at the back with a new roof where we ate our sandwiches and sheltered from the rain!
Looks a bit like Inshore Cottage in the middle of the Cape Wrath firing range. Spent a night there during my VULCAN time.
Ah yes – that well known fixing point on the Measured Mile:
Periscope; “standby fix, points will be MM lower beacon, Laggan’s cottage and Right hand edge”.
Plot: (part lll) “I can’t find your right hand hedge”. !!!!!!
Sorry, Kenneth. It’s not Inshore Cottage. I spent a week there with family (3 children, 2 dogs, and wife). The cottage is on the road and there is a barn next door. I was serving as POO at CTF 345 at the time with PNav in charge of Range bookings. We had the whole Cap Wrath area to ourselves and the sheep being confident no shells/bombs would fall.
